How To Fit Stove in Machu Picchu Tents

The Machu Picchu Tents have taken the UK by storm, and with them a lot of people want to get cozy with the stove port feature, we've made a handy guide on how we do it when we're out and about on our own camping trips.

A Guide On How to Fit Stove In Machu Picchu Tents

Before you start

Make sure you have all your pieces ready, that'll be your stove, your stove flume, a stove port adapter (which is what these instructions are mainly for),a knife to cut the stove port patch with and a FLAME PROOF MAT. We can't stress that last one enough, it is not safe to put stoves in any tent without ensuring the stove is on a flame-proof mat!

Step 1

Line up your stove port connector ring and cut small holes to allow for bolts to fit through.

Step 2

Put on the metal ring and all your bolts through the holes at the top side of the stove patch.

Step 3

Put in the metal ring on the inside of the stove patch (inside the tent) and tighten your butterfly bolts with the wing nuts.

Step 4

Get a sharp knife and cut a circle out for the stove flume. This can be in any way you like as long as your stove flume isn't obstructed, some people like to do a neat circle all around the edges, whilst others opt for a cross cut approach.
